My mother was born in Japan and was an extremely talented seamstress. She would make her own patterns out of brown paper grocery bags and sew these intricate kimonos!
Granted--I am no where near the seamstress she was but I CAN sew and I really do enjoy sewing.
This is a fabric necklace that I made a while ago.
